The Simple Seat

This is it. As simple as it gets. This is a version of a Japanese Seat called a zaisu. A chair without legs, it provides back support while sitting on the floor.

What is genius about this version is that it is made from a flat piece of plywood bent and folded like origami. The support is clean and functional and needs only a coin to turn the two screws. Inspirational.
